    In this workshop, you will learn how to make your own sourdough bread at home using a wild-yeast, naturally fermented starter. This 12-hour course will teach you how to maintain and feed your sourdough starter, techniques in turning and kneading the dough and more. There will be brief lectures on food, eating, sourdough bread and health, and lifestyle in general. All participants will take home their own sourdough bread and starter.  All meals will be provided. 

    At the end of class, all participants will be able to:
    • Learn how to keep your sourdough starter healthy and active
    • Turn, knead, shape and bake your own loaf of bread
    • Taste fresh baked sourdough bread 
    Participants will leave the class with:
    • Your own natural sourdough starter
    • 12-hour sourdough bread recipe
    • Your own loaf of sourdough bread
