Organic Sourdough Bread

In the last fifty years bread making has undergone significant changes. What was once a tradition, and a craft, passed on from one generation to the next has become a mass produced good. The grains are different, the process is different and the results, both in taste and benefits, are different.
The ingredients list for our sourdough bread is neither long nor complicated:
Organic whole wheat flour
Natural sea salt
Water
Sourdough starter

Our sourdough starter allows the lactobacillus and yeast ferment the wheat into a delicious and wholesome bread. The fermentation process over many hours lowers the glycemic index (glucose content of bread) and makes the vitamins and nutrients in the bread bioavailable and easily digestible.
